What a Racket

Don't try to ACH money out of your Wells Fargo account.

They will take as much money in as you will throw at them, but try to get it out ??? No Way. They have a $2,000 per day limit AND a $2,000 per month limit on on-line transfers.

In other words, you can only transfer $2,000 per month out of your account. And it is even worse with their 'mobile deposit' app. $1,500 limit per month. period. End of discussion.

But Fidelity Investments is more than happy to let me transfer up to $100,000 per day and deposit via my mobile phone up to $10,000 per day.

When I complained to Wells Fargo, they claimed they were 'protecting me'.

And I quote:

"Mr. Mertz, for your protection, Wells Fargo places a limit on the dollar
amount that an account can either send or receive through Bank to Bank
Transfers per business day. This is a Wells Fargo policy in place for
customers as well as for the protection of the bank."

Note that the response conveniently ignores the monthly limit.

Horse Manure.

My name is John and I am very unhappy Wells Fargo customer.
